Mississauga Marathon Training – Week 4 – Feb 15 – 21

This week was great I was able to get in all of my runs.  They might not have been the correct order but I ran them all..LOL

IMG_5403BUT, I did have one slip up!  I walked into the British store and I saw these and yes I did get a taste so good I haven’t had milk chocolate since turning vegan but I didn’t care.  All my defense mechanisms were shut down… I just wanted to taste it.   I did and it was epic but I felt awful afterwards.  Note to self, I just can’t do it anymore.

My tempo run is starting to get faster again. It’s just amazing how much speed you lose if you’re not using it.

The ground was pretty much dry but there was lots of dirt and gravel on the roads so its little bit slippery in some places.  The weather’s been changing and getting warmer, snows been melting and we are starting to sea grass.

AND what is with the beard?  I think that needs to go!!!!

This was the first week I was able to do back to back to back runs.  Not totally ideal but the two on the weekend…WOW, I felt strong and feel good considering I did 36 km in two days.  That’s pretty epic for me!
